Taskman mode can be played in different ways. The two primary modes are Taskman and Taskmain. The key differences are outlined below to help you decide which fits your playstyle.

Taskman	Taskmain
Brand new (hardcore) ironman account	Any account, whatever type and age
Strictly follows the Taskman ruleset	Can modify their experience and do as they please
Rolls tasks in strict tier order (Beginner → God)	Can roll tasks from any tier (not recommended for new accounts)
Works toward full game completion	Can exclude unwanted task categories
Appears on the leaderboard	Appears only on the Taskmain leaderboard
